Jul 17 1830 [Died] On the 8th instant, at Millmount, near Gortahork, in the county of Donegal, Mr. John Finlay, son of the late Elijah Finlay, Esq.
Jan 23 1857 An inquest was held on the 13th inst., by Dr. Long, coroner, at Legnaduff, near Carrigans, on the body of a woman, named Jane Finlay, who came by her death on the day previously in a flax mill situate in that townland. On the evidence it appeared that the arm of the deceased had been caught by the gearing at the end of the rollers for breaking the flax, which was instantly torn from her body and crushed to atoms. The chest was also shockingly mutilated. Death was instantaneous. A verdict of accidental death was returned.

May 15 1866 [Married] FINLAY & LAIRD. May 3, in the First Presbyterian Church, Raphoe, by the Rev. J. Thompson, Mr. James Finlay, of Hawstown, to Elizabeth, daughter of M. Moses Laird, of Tullyvinney
Mar 5 1869 [Died] March 1, at Tullyrap, near Raphoe, Mr. Andrew Finlay, aged 69 years
21 Mar 1871 [Died] Mar 11 at his residence, Lisnaree, William Finlay
Aug 15 1872 [Married] PATTERSON & FINLAY. August 12, in the Parish Church of Conwall, at Letterkenny, by the Rev. Joseph Tegart, A.B., Mr. Joseph Patterson, to Miss Sidney Finlay, both of Letterkenny
