Hi to everyone trying to research family history from the mighty County Tyrone. Im just starting this frustrating journey. I have now found records for William and Anne Rodgers sailing from Londonderry on 29 march 1837 on the “adam lodge”. Can anyone suggest where I may bury my head next to continue the search…… Cheer much respect for those who have mastered this record search…

I have been working on the family genealogy for a while now & have been stuck on an Elizabeth Farr(Fejy). I was told she was born in Armagh county, Northern Ireland, but thought I'd try see if I could find any information on her elsewhere. The only other information I know was she was born around 1846-47 & married Jacob Frederick Heussler around 1872-73. If anyone could help with any information, it'd be very much appreciated. Thankyou.

My great grandfather Hugh McElhenny was born and baptized in 1867 in Errigal Kieran Ballygawley. He had three siblings Mary Edward and Jacob. His parents were Hugh McElhenny and Catherine Donnelly married 1865. My g grandfather moved to Scotland and can be traced from there but I’d like to know what happened to his parents and siblings. I can find no records

I became interested in my Genealogy while researching family tartans. Joined the McFarland Clan this year and having fun with the Clan's history. Our genealogy has been traced back to William Westley McFarland, b.1750 Co Tyrone, Ireland. His father was Daniel McFarland. And that's all I have. Now I want more... Any leads? TX

Thank you so much for posting the transcriptions of Dromore Presbyterian Church, Dromore Parish, Marriages 1845-63. I would love to find an access to the baptisms at the same place mentioned on that page. The surname I am researching for my husband is Gilmour spelled various ways in the records. Of particular interest is William Gilmour of Drumsheal. I would love to know the identity of his wife. So far I believe I have found 3 sons, Alexander, Joseph and James. My husband is descended from Joseph who came to Canada in the mid 1870s.
Thank you, Christol

I have a TERESA WAFER (b.c. 1834) who married JACKSON SCOTT (1827-1872) in Aghaloo RC Church 12 DECEMBER 1855. No concrete evidence, but I suspect she was the daughter of ELLEN WAFER (d. 1865, Main Street Caledon, aged 64). A JOHN WAFER was a witness to a marriage in Aghaloo RC Church in 1837 and a MARGARET WAFER was killed by one of Lord Caledon's carts in 1850. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
