The centenary of the existing Presbyterian Church building in Stranorlar is an important landmark in the long and interesting history of a congregation dating back almost 300 years to its official foundation in 1709.
The centenary of this occasion will be celebrated in 2009, but further evidence of Presbyterian worship in Stranorlar can be traced back through Presbytery records to as early as 1675. Compiled and written by Ivan & Mark Knox 2006
