PADEN. At an inquest in Coleraine on Wed. 3rd inst., it was reported that Mr. Henry Paden, of Garvagh, had went to Coleraine on business. He got intoxicated and stayed in a house in Killowen Street on the night of the 31st January. The owner saw that deceased was missing the next morning, his body was subsequently found in the bed of the Pound Burn, a small river. Death by fracture of the skull was returned

BARNET (MARTIN). On the night of Thursday, the 26th ult., in Killowen, Coleraine, an unfortunate female by the name of Margaret Barnet alias Martin, returned to her lodgings, in a house of ill fame, in a state of intoxication. It appears she was left alone, and, in the meantime, it is supposed, set fire to her clothes while in the act of smoking. She was found burned in a shocking manner, but alive. Sergeant Jenkins had her removed to the Infirmary, where she lingered till Sunday, when death terminated her sufferings
